***spoiler*** AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH. MY! GAWD! AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He finally did it. Thank the good lord in heaven. They are too too cute.

Emmy's Roundup: Hits!

This is obviously the best and my favorite part. The hits! It's all love now, baby!

Olivia Wilde: Wow. The wow factor. The sleeves, the bodice, the skirt, the pooling onto the carpet. Love it! Glamour.

Tina Fey: You gotta love when the smart girls are pretty, too! Elegant. Smashing. Gorgeous. Good for you, Tina!

Brooke Shields: Oh. My. Gawd. Pink? Pink?!! LOVE IT! I love HER for doing Barbie the RIGHT way. Perfect pink color, cute sweetheart neckline, beaded, brooched, ruffled, clutched, and curled. Perfect hair! Best dressed!!!

Patrick & Mrs. Dempsey: Totally geek to totally chic. Had to be said. The King and Queen of the carpet. I never understand when they review the best-dressed men, but this look makes me get it. I get it big time! Hot hot hot! Dare I say dapper? I dare--dapper!

America Ferrera: I love her for being such a cutie. You've also gotta love her for playing a character with "ugly" in her title. Cute hair, makeup, necklace, dress. I love the draping on the dress...makes a pretty black dress a fabulous one.

Christina Applegate: I adore that the extra material and embellishment is on the SIDE of the dress and not part of it. Genius. I'm really happy for her that she's pulled through. Stay strong!

Evangeline Lilly: This totally could have been antique drapes/lampshade gone wrong, but Lost's little vixen is working it! She exudes old world glamour.

Kyra Sedgwick: This could have been longer, but so pretty!!! I like the stark white color with the luxurious jeweled detailing...even though the jewels look like they're groping her boobs...either way. :)

Lauren Conrad: This girl gets a gold star for taking a small MTV reality show and riding it to success. I'm obsessed with The Hills even though I know it's not really real. I always admire her perfect hair...does she use magic hairspray? And her skin/makeup are flawless. Apparently this dress is her own design. I do find it a bit reminiscent of Catherine Zeta-Jones' Oscar dress from when she was pregnant, though...at least the skirt part. LC...have you been playing with Brody again? :)

Emmy's Roundup: Meh.

"Meh" is that sound you make when you like something only so-so. You know what I'm talkin' about...meh.

Amanda Walsh: Pretty. Like it. No wow factor. Just meh.

Julia Louis-Dreyfuss: This critique pains me. I worship Elaine. But the orange and the cutout? Meh.

Marcia Cross: I love Bree. The character and the cheese. But the look with that length? Meh.

Heidi Klum: The Runway goddess herself. The cape. That's all. No more. Meh.

Emmy's Roundup: Misses.

I think this year's Emmy's didn't go too much in either direction of Hit or Miss. Here are my picks for Misses:

Jennifer Morrison: She looks a little bit like she just forgot to start getting ready, woke up, and wrapped herself in a sheet to run out the door.

Mary Louise Parker: Love her and love that she looks so smokin after her stupid-face boyfriend Billy Crudup left her pregnant to go run around with Claire Danes. That said, that blue is just not doing it. Would have loved some scarlet red to really rub it in his face.

Eva Longoria-Parker: Love her, love her as Gabrielle, don't love that crazy ass bow. Don't love that multi-layered fringe or whatever it is. Come on lady. I know you can do better.

Cynthia Nixon: Love love love Sex and the City. Love the turqoise color. Love her hair. Love the porcelain skin. Hate the lack of support. Her one boob looks all smashed down like it's gasping for air or something.

Tonight!

Can't. Wait!

UPDATE: In case you think I'm actually excited to meet a pervert named Dwight Schrute, this is actually a post about The Office. Just thought I'd clarify. Just in case. :)

Wednesday

Duvet Drama.

So I woke up last night at 3am feeling a bit cold. Turns out the comforter had decided to shift completely toward my hubby's side of the bed and just leave me with the duvet casing. What the heck is that all about? Why can't comforters just stay where you put them inside the stinkin' duvet?! If it weren't so freakin pretty I would kick it to the curb and sleep in peace.

Does your duvet misbehave?

Tuesday

Something is amiss.

Behold. On the left we have the Cyrus Mirror from Target. And on the right we have the Devon Mirror from ZGallerie. One might venture to say that the Target mirror would be much more affordable than the identical option at ZGallerie. Wrongo bongo! The Target mirror is $230 while the ZGallerie mirror is just $150! Um, helloooooo, Tar-zhay? Are you there? Have you lost your damn mind? You're not supposed to be more expensive than the nice stores. Perhaps you're confused. See, what happens is, you're supposed to be cheaper and then we trade that off for the less stellar service. That's how bargain stores work. Get it now? Good. Glad we could have this little chat. See you soon for the new Go International collections!

Alphabet List.

Another fun list, via Apartment tbd, etc

Monday

Ah, Fall.

Ah, Fall. Leaves changing, birds chirping, crisp cool temperatures. Time to break out the winter wardrobe. Wait a second!!! Thaaaaaat's right, I'm in Florida where the weather never changes! I'm not entirely telling the truth...it does go from the 90's into the 80's this time of year, so that's something.

Seriously?

Ok, seriously? My bruises don't look nearly this cute. Is it because I'm not a model? As Tyra might say, do I need to work on my posing and learn to "smile with my bruise?"

Thursday

7 Days, 11 Hours, 9 minutes to go.

I think I might just die. This. Is. Freaking. Awesome! It's definitely making the blog-rounds as I found it over on Word to Your Mother and she found it on Me and the Boys. We are kindred spirits, girls!

Wednesday

Old stuff.

Do you have any cherished items living in your closet? I definitely have some oldies but very goodies that live amongst my constant new purchases. I consider them to be go-to pieces that never let me down, always look great, and make me feel good doing so. You Look Fab recently listed her favorite Wardrobe Golden Oldies. What are yours?

1. 14 years old - my Simple Shoes suede-patchwork clogs. I’m in Florida, so I only get to wear them in “cold” weather. Love them. Get 10 compliments every time I wear them. (scared for them to finally wear out)

2. 11 years old - My Majorica pearls from Spain. I bought them while travelling there and still wear them regularly. Beautiful and very classic.

3. 27 years old - My baby pillow, “Bunnies”, that I still sleep with. It’s better than a teddy bear! I named it Bunnies because it used to have a pillowcase with little babies dressed up as bunnies. Yes, ingenious, I know. To all you fabric-philes out there, I'm still looking to replace that pillowcase! (While I realize this one doesn't really count, it's still my go-to comfort piece)

Monday

Congratulations!

A big congratulations to my best lady, Jill, who had a little baby this weekend! She named it Tivoli and you can see it's first newborn picture above. Tivoli has her own little canvas outfit she sleeps in and Jill is looking forward to carrying her around and showing her off to everyone. She is the cutest little thing in town! :)

Saturday

Thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Texas as our buddy Ike makes landfall. As a South Floridian, I can easily say I know what you're going through, so just hang in there!

Friday

Rachel Zoe Project: Fashion Profiling.

Rachel: very busy shutting it down

Taylor: trying to be more Rachel Zoe than Rachel Zoe. "Can't be bothered."

Brad: cutie patootie just trying to make it in this crazy mixed up fashion world

Clothes: the real star of the show

Thursday

Twins.

No, this is not the same person. On the left we have JoAnna Garcia, star of the new CW show Privileged (yes, fine, I watched it. I'm like 15 minutes from where it is set, so I kinda had to), and on the right we have Amy Adams in Enchanted. Down to the red, the curls, and the pensive princess look on their faces, I seriously thought they were the same person until IMDB came to the rescue, yet again.

Quest for a name.

Now that I'm actually posting regularly and having lots of fun doing so, I'm afraid I find myself in need of a proper name. Thanks to Melanie at You are My Fave, I have it narrowed down to 2 names: "That's the Best" and "Breakfast for Dinner." I'm torn between the two, so I turn to you for help. Please vote for your favorite in the comments. I'm striving for cute and attention-grabbing. Thank you!!!

Dammit Target!

Damn you, Target! You've done it again. Except the thing you've got me obsessed with now is your freakin' commercial music! You'd think it's enough that you're in my wallet, but now you're in my head, too. UPDATE: A big shout out to my buddy Raygan, who pointed me toward the YouTube video of this song so I could bob my head up and down at work. Thanks RayRay!

Rachel Zoe Phraseology.

Killing it: You sure do look nice.
Die: You sure do look nice. I might like an outfit like yours.
Shut it down (alternative uses: You are shutting it down. She shut it down.): Yep, that's the dress.

***SPOILER ALERT***

Outlicious.

Wednesday

My smart husband.

This is why I love my oh-so-wise husband. He invented a new cookie/brownie dessert. It just came to him--put the little frozen brick of cookie dough in the brownie pan and they'll cook into each other. Absolutely delicious. He's a genius, I know.

Tuesday

So excited.

The Rachel Zoe Project starts tonight at 11pm ET on Bravo. Being the baby that I am, I will of course not be staying up to watch it, but my Tivo is scheduled and ready to go! I'm all ready to take in the silly catch phrases and drama of high fashion. Love it. Recap coming soon.

Time to pray.

Please veer to the North. Go away. Drift into the open waters. Take your Category 4 ass to the curb.

Best. RNC moment. Ever.

All clean!

Wednesday

90210 (2.0). Observations.

After watching last night's episode, I'm not sure if I liked it because I was being nostalgic or because it was actually good. Let's review.

The first exciting reference was to Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez, love child of Andrea Zuckerman and Jesse Vasquez. I found that entire relationship to be quite awkward on the original show, but perhaps their spawn will make for a good host of the West Beverly news.

The next super fun reference was made to Erin Silver, Kelly Taylor's little sister, daughter of Jackie Taylor and Mel Silver, also half-sister to David Silver. Ok, so I'm kinda slow, but it took me a minute to realize she insisted on being called "Silver" because it's her last name, not because it's random and cool.

Maybe I'm a little naive, but how is it that a girl who is barely 16 buys her buddy an $800 dress, gets into "The Pit", goes drinking, and has a tattoo? Mm, hmm. Don't think so! Silver tells the story how in 8th grade she and Naomi were best friends and that's why they have matching tattoos. Really? Seriously? Tattoo in 8th grade? I'll at least say she has nice clothes :)

I don't remember Brenda's teeth being this far apart in the original. I searched high and low for a comparison pic, but it seems she wisely smiled sans teeth back in the day. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for a good old Brenda temper tantrum where she yells at everybody for not understanding her and/or doing her wrong. Good times.

Kelly Taylor. True to her roots--gorgeous then, gorgeous now.

Aunt Becky sure has come a long way. From Nebraska to San Francisco, from Kansas to Beverly Hills. Them farm girls sure do clean up good.

Ah, the good old days. My first introduction to Rob Estes was on USA's smash hit, Silk Stalkings. Oh, how I loved that show. Hot detectives and mysterious Palm Beach crimes committed by the wealthy and privileged. I can't say I love him as much I did back then, but he's still pretty easy on these peepers.

Overall, the drama was good times. I'm not really sure about how hot these kids are, though. Annie seems to be a little too Kansas and lacks that "Brenda" edge that was previously brought from the Midwest. Ethan/Ty as the Dylan/Brandon hot boys leaves something to be desired. Cute, yes, but not hot. Naomi plays a great spoiled-little-rich-girl-who-is-really-sensitive-deep-down-inside. We'll see how she continues to unfold. Rumor has it that Kelly's baby-daddy is actually Dylan, so perhaps we'll get a little brooding Luke Perry action later on in the season. I'll probably keep watching until it gets completely ridiculous. And then I'll just lie about watching. :)
